With the Smarty Template Engine installed, configured and working properly I've moved onto refining the sites appearance and Search Engine Optimization. When I began this project, I had put a small sketch of what I wanted the site to look like on a piece of paper. Using that sketch as the basis for the site CSS layout I began working in my favorite paint program to create the visual elements for the site. Funny thing there and a separate issue totally, but one I am going to touch on with this small article. When I first began my career as a web site developer, I programmed all my projects in IE (meaning I only used IE to view my work) and never put any concern into how those sites appeared in other browsers. Why wouldn't I, after all 90% or so of the people browsing the Internet use IE, I'm gues....
